So, now something about Paul`s job:

So who´s Mr. Beard?

Paul Beard, born on August 4th 1975, is a musician who´s been in several bands so far. He´s briefly been a keyboardist for Bluetones. Then he was a member of the bloody brilliant British band Ambershades. Davey La (Vocals), Ben Castle (Guitar), John Hillier (Bass), Terry Kirkbride (Drums) and Paul (on keys) - Britpop sounding a bit like The Beatles, Supergrass, The Thrills, Squeeze, Brian Wilson. But they do have their very own style. Examples for their great songs are the awesome singles they released: "8th Day", "Clap Clap Clap" and the fabolous "My Darling", with a laid-back feeling, probaby their best song. These are all on their first album "Clap Clap Clap", released in 2004. Maybe it´s also their last one ´cause...
according to Beardy himself, the band has split up. But it seems like not all of the band members got the same opinion on that topic - Davey La, the lead singer, left a message on their myspace site saying that they are planning to record more songs if they´re all together at the same place someday. Let´s hope he´s right.

Currently Paul´s busy touring with the famous British singer-songwriter James Blunt. He´s playing piano and keys and partly he he´s been the one who frantic girls shouted "dance b*tch dance" at. This effort of the audience was needed to see his amazing dancing talent, shown to a cover from Slade´s "Coz I luv you". When the tour is finished, James Blunt will be at the studio together with the whole band recording James´s 2nd album.

So we´ll definitely hear a lot from this man in the future: playing for James Blunt, maybe being with the Ambershades again or or in a -quote from Beardy!! - "new band featuring me".
